Peeled Eye Shop has been developed in the UK by Tim Platt, a London based professional photographer, and Nigel Allgood, who runs NAP Media, a interactive design agency. The goal is to raise an awareness that original art and photography needn't be out of reach for the majority of people who don't go to galleries.

Tim says: "Many of our most talented photographers shoot commissioned briefs. While such work can be challenging and rewarding, there are few outlets for uncommissioned work. The kind of work that led us into photography in the first place."

Nigel adds: “Peeled Eye Shop provides the perfect online environment for customers to explore and purchase photography as fine art. It will also provide the first opportunity for many talented photographers to make their work available to the general public.”
